Four prizes in international compétitions and two entries to the Geneva Conservatoire
This April, 14-year-old Mathis CATHIGNOL won first prize in the “young talents” category of the Montrond-les-bains Piano Competition for under-19-year-olds. A few weeks later, he won third prize in the advanced level of the Ile-de-France International Competition.
In the same month, Kim BERNARD, aged 16, was awarded the Kurtàg Prize in the International Competition “brin d’herbe” in Orléans.
And lastly, two Piano Cantabile students have just passed the entrance audition to the Geneva Conservatoire. Vérane GIRAULT and Antoine BIENENFELD will be joining this prestigious institution in September to study with Sylviane DEFERNE. At the beginning of April, Antoine BIENENFELD already won second prize in the Monrond-les-bains International Competition for Under-26-year-olds.
